The artists formerly known as Lazerdisk Party Sex are embarking on their Party Sex Is Dead Tour to rock the east coast with their new identity, Lazerdisk. They've already kicked off the tour in Missoula, MT on October 4th with a monster multi-tempo set filled with exclusive remixes and new tunes from their upcoming EP. Speaking of fresh tunes, they've released a preview of their upcoming Major Lazer remix for "Mashup the Dance" to be released on Mad Decent.

With support from the likes of Diplo, Bro Safari, 12th Planet, and CRNKN, Lazerdisk has come a long way since their start in the northeast. Starting as a moombahton duo, their upcoming EP will feature somewhat of a style change for their sound. The album maintains influences from early 80s dance tunes while featuring a vibe similar to artists like Oliver and Onra. If you get a chance to see them this year, it may be the last time you get a classic Lazerdisk show. They're revamping more than just their name and it's pretty sweet.
