22-year-old Toronto native Tommy Paxton Beesley, formally known as River Tiber, has sprung onto the music scene virtually out of nowhere. Having ventured around the world , opening his eyes to what the world has to offer outside of the filtered photos we see on Instagram or Tumblr, the cultural influences he experienced are made present in his music.
His latest release, "The Star Falls", is very bleak and grainy, similar to James Blake. What is more impressive is his multitracking of all the instruments, vocals, samples and sounds on his recordings. This young musician is a talent to behold, and with his next project Synapses, he wants to prove just that.
