What's better on a Thursday afternoon than the sweet sound of electro funk putting an extra pep in your step? Up-and-coming Canadian duo Wet Paint graces us with a Grizmatik-esque remix of James Brown's "People Get Up" that lifts the spirits with a dash of soul and a hard-hitting basslines. With perfect use of legendary vocal samples, the boys at Wet Paint add even more by tossing in a glitchy horn section and a heavy hitting breakdown to wrap up the must have track. The duo just recently added a live drummer to the mix, making it that much more enticing to send these guys on tour. They just finished up a season of shows with the likes of Kaytranada, Lunice, Torro Torro and Viceroy, and are looking to catch a larger audience before the end of 2013.
