The triple threat electronic outfit Keys N Krates have been on quite a hot streak. From playing major festivals across the globe, signing with Dim Mak Records, and premiering several tracks on Annie Mac’s esteemed BBC Radio 1 Show, the live instrumentation group is prevailing stronger than ever. With their forthcoming EP SoLow on the horizon, the guys are gearing up for an even more successful 2014.

Keys N Krates SoLow EP is due out on Dim Mak Records September 17th and features their hit singles “Treat Me Right” and “Dum Dee Dum” as well as two new tracks "Ratchet Hoe$", and "I Just Can't Deny”. Turntable master Jr-Flo calls the new EP less smooth and more banging than Lucid Dreams, also adding, “The rest of the EP is in the vein of "Treat Me Right".  Sped up and chopped up vocals, big 808s, catchy hooks, and banging club beats that draw influences from rap and electronic music.” While the EP is right around the corner, you can still grab the pre-order over on iTunes.

KNK most recently linked up with London based label Ministry of Sound for an official remix of Alex Metric & Jacques Lu Cont's summer anthem “Safe With You”.  Calling it a “groovy, club beat,” they aim to remind us of early Timbaland grooves circa 2000. Utilizing 808 kicks and preserving the vocal elements of Malin’s sultry ways, the threesome turn it into a modern day pop song. KNK rolls life into the track with skittering drums and melodic flourishes that creep over echoing vocal snippets, for a darker twist to the original material. The “Safe With You” Remix EP is slated for release on September 22nd only a few days after SoLow drops. Check it out below.
