When news first came out that Terry Crews would play the real-life version of the animated Major Lazer, it got a lot of people excited, and now that the video is out, it's official- Terry Crews nailed it as the . The visuals to accompany this bizarrely attractive song feature the ex-football player beating his way through one bad villain after the next (with the help of a beautiful badass sidekick), with comedian Nick Kroll commanding the whole operation. A few appearances from special guests include the always hilarious Blake Anderson and Lauren London, among others.
It takes the vision that most people probably always held of Major Lazer- a cartoonish, somewhat comedic Tarantino-esque approach to violence, and plays it up in a short three and a half minute video. In short, it's probably the best little visit to Youtube you'll have all day.
Major Lazer is currently in Europe, with stops in France and the UK coming up within the coming week. By the end of August, however, they have will be twerking their butts in the US, with many of the stops being the last few Mad Decent Block Parties still left. Free the Universe, their album, is out now.
