The Airplanes – "Paper Hearts"

The Airplanes hailing from Fayetteville, Arkansas, take the listener on a trip to pop paradise with their vocal melodies, upbeat guitar riffs, and groovy drums.  They blend the west coast rock styles of Wavves and The Beach Boys so well even Brian Wilson would be proud. With precision, they put a modern spin on a classic style that brings something fresh to the indie pop rock scene.

“Paper Hearts” is a fun and catchy tune that sounds like the soundtrack to summer in the 1960’s. Listening to it makes you want to throw on your bathing suit, grab your surfboard, and hit the beach or cruise the golden state in your drop top convertible not caring when you arrive at your final destination. “Paper Hearts” embodies the fun and excitement of chilling with friends, careless in the world, except maybe which number SPF to apply while sun bathing.

August is the midpoint of summer and there is no better way to celebrate than turning on “Paper Hearts” full blast at your next barbeque. Check the track out for yourself on The Airplanes EP.
