I certainly don't normally post at 10:30 PM on Fridays, but this track blew me away. Kentucky's own Caleb Cornett, better known under his no-boundaries electronic production moniker Amtrac, has posted a page-turner of a track entitled "Walkin'" on his Soundcloud that's up for free download. A complete rework of Edwin Starr's "Twenty Five Miles," this track is quite diverse. The plethora of musical influences interpreted this song might be the most I've ever seen: hip hop, country, Motown soul, pop electronica and techno influenced progressive house. The result takes us on a great little journey that's both deep and fun with an 80's edge.
