Lindsay Lowend is a 20-year old producer from Washington, D.C., signed to Kastle's venerable Symbols Recordings. His debut Wind Fish EP (out August 5th) combines video game sounds with bass music in a way that sounds fresh but is still completely accessible. His sound blends genres and influences in a way that only seems possible in 2013. Hip-hop samples meet drum solos and are followed by synth-y beats. It's as if the collective ADD of the Internet was translated aurally (in the best way). These are truly the sounds of the future.
