Dance music from the UK has really caused a firestorm lately, and nothing indicates that it's ready to slow down quite yet. This time around, the production team duo DEVolution and MNEK have teamed up together and brought forth "Too Much Heaven," a song that only highlights the beautiful sounds of the young singer's voice and all the musical talents bursting forth from the Southampton duo.
The lyrics bring forth a sadness and a tranquility before building into a beautiful love poem, all gracefully placed over a garage-esque track. The beauty of never bringing the music into too much of a high or a low is balanced with the heaviness of MNEK's uniquely special voice and lyrical genius. Overall, the entire work feels more like a piece of true art, rather than anything trying to achieve commercial appeal, although it is sure to achieve popularity nonetheless. This track comes off DEVolution's upcoming EP, Transition, from Cadence Records and comes out August 25th.
