In his latest single for Montreal label Infinite Machine, we see Framework, who you may know as one half of Sibian & Faun, veer further away from the realm of danceability than ever. "Holding You Down", out today with cover artwork by Framework himself, is more of a garage-inspired, sludgy, dark ambient track.
Within its six minutes, the song steadily evolves, starting simple with trap-like rattling percussion and a cinematic backdrop and eventually morphing into a glitched-out assault of choppy vocal samples. You can find the single on Bandcamp or grab an exclusive download below.
