Megaton Records follows the success of Henry Fong and Toby Green’s “Revival” with yet another big room track, this time by the 17 year old Swede Filip Ilic. First heard on Martin Garixx's Radio Show, “Phantom” quickly catches one’s attention with a foreboding melody and short synth runs. The real kicker, however, comes from the drop, a minimal, percussive dip into an “Epic”-like underworld. Though Filip may be young, I assume such youthful energy will only further his passion and build his drive to becoming an even better artist. Keep tabs on this kid and Megaton Records for more quality tracks.
