After a week of headline-making releases from Drake, new music from recent OVO signee Party Next Door has been posted to the thriving Toronto crew's blog. The track has all the trappings of a successful party jam with autotuned R&B vocals, that trap-inspired beat, a consumable bassline and indulgent lyrical content revolving around ladies and drug use. Truth be told, you can't reach the level of success Drake has attained without a decent amount of gossip and speculation swirling around you, this perfectly exemplified by the process of signing young Party Next Door who was apparently offered a six-figure deal by Def Jam A&R rep Shalik Berry before dropping it when approached by Drizzy who saw an opportunity to intercept on his own behalf. As you can imagine, love and hate for the Toronto emcee flowed freely from there. Regardless, check out the track and let us know if you're feeling the new artist.
