Das Racist – "Indians From All Directions"

Das Racist, as strange and bizarre as they were, really set a standard for "being different" in the rap game, and the world hasn't been the same since they announced their split.

It's been some time since then, and while they may have bid adieu to their lives as “Das Racist", we got wind of some new music that has surfaced onto the great World Wide Web. It's a little sad to listen to what would be an otherwise exciting track, as we've all quickly come to realize that this might be one of the last Das Racist tracks to we'll have for some time, or ever.

Although both rappers have moved on to solo careers (along with a busy Dapwell), it's always a little unfortunate to see any group close that chapter of their lives. Kool AD came out with a couple mixtapes titled 19 and 63 a little while back, and has some tour dates, while Heems seems to be busy traveling and manning his label, Greedhead with its recently released Wild Water Kingdom. For those worried that being a hype-man might not lead to anything, Dapwell has proved everyone wrong with his podcast work. "Indians From All Directions" is a pretty standard track from the eclectic, crowd-rousing trio–it's loud and bothering, but will undeniably draw the listener in. For DR fans, this will be, at the very least, a good way to make peace with their breakup.
