One of the rising stars coming out of Canada, Charlie Darker is now becoming a household name in the EDM realm. Coming off a major original collaboration with progressive house duo Paris & Simo called "Cairo", Darker has just unleashed his new single "Anxiety". A catchy electro melody with big room undertones contrasted with a unique and darker break followed by masterful synth work makes this track a force to be reckon with. I asked Darker what his inspiration and creativity was behind this new song and he told me, "I wanted to make something that works in a big room environment but doesn't subscribe to the classic type of 'drop' that has been done a million times. I wanted to incorporate more elements of techno while still embracing complexity and melodies." I am greatly looking forward to see what this talented act has in store for his next track!
