Rising Harlem producer $1 Bin released his third collaborative EP yesterday entitled We Don't Feel Like You Do! with Wisconsin based producer Madden. $1's previous collaborative effort came alongside teen phenomenon Hucci, who hails from the United Kingdom. GN$ was well-received widely and propelled $1 Bin onto the radar of a lot of us internet music nerds. Moving away from the trap feel of GN$, the sound of this offering features a fusion of techno, house, and obvious hip hop influences, resembling music that ravers would dance the night away to at an after hours bar. Few people know it, but $1Bin has been a trained musician from a very young age, so a transition into production was natural. Notable features on the EP come courtesy of DJ TiGa, SWVZY, LOL GURLZ & SICH MANG. I really like the Native American sample they added closer to the end of the title track — it reminds me of A Tribe Called Red.
