Sampling the MGMT hit “Electric Feel,” Square Off (comprised of the duo Trips N Slim) released their collaboration with Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky, “24k”, for their new mixtape entitled The Preface this past week. Though the closing verse provided by the A$AP Mob member only gives us a sample of his full lyrical ability, both sons of the Human Beat Box himself, Doug E Fresh, give us that late-night, feel-good, driving-with-the-top-down vibe that’ll be on everyone’s playlist in the months to come. With a title like The Preface, we can only wonder as to what the pair has planned for the future.
