The last single from Melbourne's Wintercoats arrived just in time for the winter solstice. Now, dreampop virtuoso James Wallace is ushering in spring with a brand new single pulled from his upcoming Heartful EP. "Everyone Seems To Be In On Something" deepens the haze teased on "Halogen Moon", enmeshing ephemeral strings with distant revolving chimes. Eerie cellos groan beneath Wallace's delicate, layered vocals as the track settles into its melancholy, yet comforting, finish. Despite his seasonal alias, Wallace has composed the perfect music for settling out of winter into the thaw.
The follow-up to 2011's Sketches EP, Heartful will be released April 17 via Australian tastemakers Yes Please Records.
