If there is one thing that still makes me feel nervous about writing for this site, it's when I receive submissions. I love them, and I don't want to sound ungrateful for people getting in touch with me, but there is still something about them that makes me feel a little anxiety. Maybe it's the fact that every submission represents an artist with a million dreams, and who am I to voice an opinion on their work?
With that being said, I've loved every submission so far and I say, keep 'em coming. There have been so many standouts, but one artist that has truly shined happens to be Miami's Hof. He spits rhymes over dreamy, bass-heavy beats, and it seems that as he has begun to master his craft, he is bursting to show the world what he can offer. And with every right, the man's got talent.

With a definitive style developing, complete with matching videos, it seems only logical to begin taking note of this underground rapper. If Schoolboy Q, Clams Casino, Flatbush Zombies, and The Weeknd all had a love child, Hof would be the result—sexy, tough, ambient, and catchy as all hell.
He recently released an LP titled Magick on Soundcloud, and while he may not be a huge star yet, his style will be much appreciated by fans of the East Coast rap game, as well as for anyone looking for some late night rap to bump in the car. Keep an eye out on this one: he might just be the sleeping giant we haven't caught onto yet.
