New York native Dash Speaks has been writing music since he was 9 years old. While kids were listening to NSync and LFO, Speaks was taking his cues from prolific rappers like Outkast and Portishead. In 2009, he decided to start producing his own beats and taught himself everything he knows. His self-taught methods are non-existent in his pristine production style. Speaks reinvents hip-hop beats by putting his own modern spin on them. He remarks, "as a hip hop head, a music lover, and a club DJ, my music nods to a ton of influences both old and new. I like to think that my production sounds like what people from the future would make if they were trying to recreate DJ Premier beats. " Today we have his remix of “Push Up Girls” originally by Lazer Cake. This beat flows like sweet honey that will having you pining for more after the last drop. Dash’s latest album Night On Earth, is available for a free download on his soundcloud, as well as this saucy beat. Go cop both now.
