Maceo Plex, AKA Maetrik has been quite busy with his individual and collaborative careers. Recently he remixed Butch's "Highbeams" for Hot Creations, released a "lost version" for Azari & III's latest remix album, gave his track “

Mind On Fire

” out as a free download via Rolling Stone. Regarding his collaborative career, he teamed up last year with Danny Daze to create Jupiter Jazz, which celebrated digitally releasing it’s Booty Jazz EP on Ellum Records this past Monday. If all this wasn’t enough, Maceo also tested his skills in the infamous Boiler Room, a video of which can be seen below.

Switching gears, Maya Jane Coles, the London deep house artist who wowed with her otherworldly remix of “Spectrum” last summer, landed herself on two covers this winter: one on France’s Trax magazine in January, and the other on Trap magazine’s latest issue, dishing about her upcoming album. It’s an exciting release for an artist who also has been announcing her appearance at some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Beyond Wonderland, Coachella, and Parklife.
