Another smashing tune from Will Sparks, the young Australian producer who has taken the electro house world by storm. Just yesterday he supported TJR, another forerunner of this Melbourne house sound, who’s currently in Australia working his way through the Ode to Oz Tour. Today’s release, “Phoenix,” plays on all the highlights of this genre that we have come to know and love: a stripped down sound that allows the infectious mid to penetrate your mind, on top of a bouncing background bassline. To continue his success, Will Sparks will have to keep his sound evolving, a challenge of which the artist seems mightily capable.
