A stellar, chilled out hip-hop vibe from space is the only way I can describe the newest release from New York producer Yume. He blends a mixture of epic chillwave-y synths with hard-hitting MPC style hip-hop beats, an original style which Yume has quickly mastered. Taking small fragments of inspiration from the overwhelming EDM trap phenomenon as well as cloud rap, he spins it into a new take on what hip-hop can actually sound like.
