It's always a treat to find an experimental and truly mind numbing techno release. This year is off to a promising start with BASH002 from the Bangers & Ash series with production from 23 year old Clay Wilson of Brooklyn. This series from New York imprint Styles Upon Styles features left field experimental material on the A side and club oriented but no less esoteric material on the B side.

Look for BASH002 in limited translucent 12" vinyl available on 28 January 2013. If the music doesn't tickle your fancy, you may still be interested in the MoMA worthy artwork that runs with this release. Rumor has it that each record will come with a hand painted jacked that features artwork as loud as the music itself.
