It's safe to say I'm a huge Yuna fan. So when I heard this heavily-sampled "Something More" track (chorus courtesy of Yuna's "Live Your Life"), I was already singing along with the infectious chorus (really, what's not to love about Yuna?). Christopher Joseph Trillo, or CJ Trillo, is a California newcomer whose nostalgic music is reminiscent of the 90s, which gives listeners a pretty good idea of his musical influences. Formerly known as Sucka Free CJ, Trillo discusses his aspirations to "re-imagine the real" on "Something More," a chill, solid effort by the Los Angeles upstart. "Something More" serves as the first track off Heavy, his most recent mixtape. Heavy is available for download via CJ Trillo's Bandcamp.
