Although Robert Glasper's Black Radio came out more than six months ago, we still can't get enough. And in a good way, it seems neither can he. The piano savant is cooking up Black Radio Recovered: The Remix EP which will be out in less than a week on October 9th off Blue Note Records. The 6-track EP features both unreleased tracks from Black Radio sessions and revisited selections off the popular LP with support from folks like Pete Rock, Phonte, and Georgia Anne Muldrow. Glasper also includes a tribute to the late and great father of hip hop producers, J Dilla, on "Dillatude #2".

The track featured here is a reworking of Little Dragon's "Twice" covered by the Experiment in a Black Radio session. However, instead of Mr. Glasper or Ms. Nagano behind the mic, we have Solange Knowles with ?uesto on the drums. This triple threat of talent conjures an enchanting and ingenious remake of the original (and the cover) with coaxing vocals, incandescent piano work and an effortlessly fluid drum beat. The weighty string outro is enough to make this version of "Twice" a standalone single in its own right. That being said, we're sure EP won't fail to impress. Check out the Experiment's North America tour dates below.
