Philadelphia's tough streets of have birthed a number of hip hop trail blazers and we can now add 18-year old Grande Marshall to that list. I was first introduced to Grande Marshall's music via "Robert Earl", the slow cooked Southside heater off Gianni Lee's TRILLWAVE compilation released earlier this year. While maintaining a very Southern influence, Marshall's sound is as mythical as it is dark. Having produced a good portion of the 800 project, he recently tore up DCtoBC's Trillectro festival in D.C. The first festival of its kind in the D.C. city limits, the lineup included Flosstradamus, Casey Veggies, Flat Bush Zombies and Schoolboy Q. Support Grande Marshall's work below.
