The adventure continues with EARMILK & Puppy Gang. Our last installment of this revolutionary string of events based in Brooklyn, NY was ridiculously packed and went on from the early evening all the way into the late morning. It featured Machinedrum, Sepalcure, White Ring and an all star lineup as per usual.

Puppy Gang 103 will be ringing in the underground Brooklyn chaos this Saturday, August 25th at The Church of Dionysus (110 Troutman, Brooklyn, NY). To continue the ritual of the Puppy Gang parties, this lineup is totally stacked with some serious talent. Black Asteroid (live), DJ Sliink, White Ring, RPEG, Weird Magic, Booty Klapp, and Thomas. Prepare yourself for sounds of the future. Think of having a psychedelic experience induced by music alone. That's what you should expect at any Earmilk/S!CK/Weird Magic party.

Black Asteroid is a very special act. He has shared the stage with the likes of Daft Punk and Kraftwerk. Sound designed for Prince. He worked in production and cofounded a band called MOTOR and let's just say he's seen some things. His most recent EP Engine 1 was written in one week, mixed in another week, and signed to CLR the following week. His sound could be described as the angst driven, raw-afterlife of old-school techno with other random, trippy electronic components. The beats that Black Asteroid produces are just as deep as they were over a decade ago in the underground techno scene.

DJ Sliink has been making some serious moves recently with his original productions and collaborations over the past few years but has been picking up even more steam in the previous months. Flosstradamus being his most recently notable collaborative work on "Test Me". He has also recently released a 5-song EP on the Jersey Club/Trap/Juke/Footwork label Body High called Vibrate (BH004). Other recent activity includes a remix for Grimes and collabs with DJ Kiff. The story definitely doesn't end there. DJ Sliink is notorious for keeping dance-floors sweatier than a russian bath house in the middle of the summer. He is most definitely a DJ to experience in any setting you find him.

Giraffage happens to be one of those "outside the box, possibly outside of this planet" style producers. His style still may be considered underground but fuses influences from well known genres like Trip-Hop, Trap, Hip Hop, and R&B. XXYYXX is one of his recent collaboration effort partners. They polished up a beautiful piece of work called "Even Though" and the amount of play it has been receiving has been climbing rapidly ever since. Utilizing catchy chopped up vocal sections and dreamy, spaced out synth sounds, Giraffage paints a gentlly booming musical picture in the listeners head. Never abrasive, yet always groove heavy.

Prepare yourselves… we are giving away 20… yes, TWENTY TICKETS to this event. Earmilk + Puppy Gang felt like being a little generous this time around. All you have to do to enter the contest is tweet about the event while tagging @earmilkdotcom and @rpeg1. The winners will be announced before the event via Twitter and you will be able to redeem your ticket(s) at the door of the event using your full name.
