We listen to Wax because he has a philosophy on everything: women, clubbing, money, music, ego. Ever insightful, he keeps his profundity waxed with a good dose of mischievous humor to boot. So in the kickoff of his brand new Unplugged series, presented by both EARMILK and DJ Booth, we weren't surprised to find ourselves nodding in enjoyable agreement over "Paycut", a revisit to Wax's cautionary response to gold-digging chicks who will end up ditching him anyway for another guy with fatter pockets. The track is a classic off his 2006 Grizzly Season album with Herbal T, but the Unplugged video version features Wax on guitar, un-phased by love lost to gold digging.
