Italian duo Promise Land have frequented THE CLUB here on Earmilk, bringing a progressive electro sound perfectly suited for those giddy masses just waiting to rage on festival grounds. I first heard their newest track, “Emotions” featuring Georgi Kay (yes, the same singer from the unforgettable “In My Mind”), while listening to Chuckie’s BBC Radio 1 residency from back at the end of July. Anthemic melodies ring throughout the song, pushed by a buoyant beat and an ever-present dirty dutch noise. Breaking through the chaos Kay’s blissfully angelic vocals layer over a whimsical piano line; however the song cannot wait to take listeners up into another energetic climb and brassy big room drop.
