The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Today I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as a summer time mix of the week section into the weekly feature.

You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!

BASS

This week Jack Beats finally released their highly anticipated Careless EP. This EP is phenomenal and includes massive collaborations with artists like Diplo and Dillon Francis. Be sure to cop the entire EP on beatport.com, but for now here's "Epidemic" featuring Dillon Francis. Also included are two brand new tracks by producer Butch Clancy, both remixes of some classic tunes. Well, one is a classic, the other is remixed by everyone under the sun. Nonetheless check them out.

FILTH

Lana Del Rey recently dropped a huge remixes album, but only includes a fraction of the songs. Let's be honest if she released an album with every song that she was remixed in, it would be 10 times bigger than Lil B's 676 song mixtape. With that being said, I included just one track, DC Breaks' remix of "National Anthem." Also be sure to check out Flinch's remix of "Go All Night" by Ming. The bass in this track is so heavy, yet smooth at the same time. Flinch's production just cannot be topped.

DRUM & BASS

Doctrine released a new 3 song EP through Heavy Artillery Records this past week, and I was sure to include one of his tunes. Also be sure to check out Oscillator Z's new Linkin Park drumstep remix. Yes it's Linkin Park, but it really isn't that corny, I swear.

CHILL

Trolley Snatcha dropped a free EP through Scion A/V which, is a little different vibe then what's excepted from Trolley. I decided to throw in a much more relaxed track called "44." Also be sure to download the Zion I track that was produced by Minnesota. I've been a fan of Zion I for years now, but honestly haven't listened to him in a while. So when I heard this track I instantly remembered why I was down with Zion I in the first place, his flow is just unmatched.
