Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, producer Sound Remedy shatters our expectations again, delivering a hauntingly powerful remix of indie queen Ellie Goulding’s “Hanging On”. The track begins much like the original, emphasizing an enchanting harp line and Goulding’s innocent vocals; that is, until the drop, where Goulding’s voice transforms into distorted rhythmic patterns layered with jittery synth progressions.

An alternating bass drum and clap make this chillstep track, along with a pan flute instrumental that Sound Remedy seems to favor in many of his songs (see: "Reach For The Stars").
