Beau Young Prince has been a longstanding proponent of a new wave of DMV hip-hop. This song, "Other People", is no exception to his newfound style, giving the listener a dark trance-like track with his usual thoughtful lyrical style. Beau himself describes the song best: "This track is a dark hip-hop song with a trancy trap electronic feel. As usual I bring you something on a different wave, which dives into the mindset of a young artist trying to discover his place in an industry that is constantly pumping out material that sounds the same and lacks the unique essence that made hip-hop what it was. I am other, I am different, I am me, and I want to let my music speak." Personally I'm excited for a possible collaboration album with Uno Hype but that will be on the table for awhile.
