Suicide Sundaes - Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen, Sunday is back. Greg is here to bring you the week's dirty servings, and some old favorites through a throwdown-throwback to simpler times. A time when bangers were big, remixes were bigger, the bassline bled, and we didn't care about anything as long as came in kicking and left screaming.
Hello listeners! Sorry for the delay in Suicide Sundaes posts these last couple of weeks. I was out covering Spring Awakening Music Fest in Chicago, and it was a wild ride. Check out the recap post for the event here. Around eighty DJs, including Morgan Page and Krewella (both featured here today), gathered at Soldier Field to rock the people of the 'Windy City' for one crazy weekend. But more on that later this week, on to the music at hand.
This week we have three great new tracks coming at you from our SoundCloud page from artists SandSpider and Kiely Rich. Feature Cuts also drops in to give us his version of The Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby" and it is one hell of a solid remix, harnessing the haunting beauty of the original perfectly with a modern twist.
Don't forget to send us your tracks (320kbps mp3 format please) to see if you have what it takes to be featured on Suicide Sundaes.
In Sprinkles, we also have great remixes by Brummer, Distantt and others.
In Scoops, we start things off with a remix of a track from one of my personal favorites, 'A Clockwork Orange' by Dizkodeath. Continuing the dark tone we have a great new track from NOZE, "Dark Nebula", and remixes by Buttheads, Krewella, and Gor FLsh that will definitely get you up and moving throughout week.
Plus Bestrack, Invader GiR, and much more.
