Earlier this year, Delaware rookie rapper J Mars premiered his mixtape, The Reservation, here on EARMILK. Particularly ear-catching on the mixtape was his track entitled "Black Diamond Shamballas," a smooth track with a hypnotic beat that pays pseudo-homage to the place where Mars came from while acknowledging all the things he would like to achieve.
Mars is back today with a release of the video for "Black Diamond Shamballas." It'll be interesting to see if he makes and remains the "same old me" but in the mean time, "Shamballas" is the perfect pairing for your weekend soundtrack. Download the entire mixtape here.
