Tarot Chords lay before you to conjure more than what we currently have. They tell of a future unlike our own. A future we're in dire need of. The tale of renaissance and the cold rediscovery of the creative spirit. Witch house, drag, ghost drone, dark wave, dark snyth, witch bass, zombie rave and sometimes even seapunk will find their way into the notes of this feature. These sounds are brought to "life" by composers who not only to test the boundaries of music today, but most importantly the paradigms that envelope it.
Crackula has been a composer I've been following for some time now. He has a more aggressive and fast pace dance style to his witch tracks, but that doesn't mean they're not dark enough. Lots of trap rolls and warped vocals. If you listen careful you can here some hardstyle influence. Think of Crackula as a Salem with house-like BPM. You can download this witch-house piece here as well as his seapunk work here.
A few months ago the Kloaks reviled that one of their members was indeed one half of Designer Drugs. He brings a more rock and instrumental mentality to witch house as they play live will real instruments. They did a Mixtape for NVRMIND
Our lovely Banacrisp has also acquired a taste for this dark music. She picks this group called Alligator Indian. This group is very experimental, but has many qualities a witch-house fan will enjoy.
Our friends over Baku Sha-do sent us their major compilation of fresh new dark tunes. Enjoy the PURRSSESSION. Download it here.
