The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Today I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as an oldies section into the weekly feature.

You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of Dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!

BASS

Bassnectar is at it again with his new 2012 album VAVA VOOM, out now. He was kind enough to throw the entire album up on Soundcloud for your streaming pleasure. Today I decided to feature his track "What" featuring Jantsen. This track takes you back to the days of reggae dub with the addition of a blistering bass line. Boston DJs Stripe took the huge Jay Z & Kanye track "Niggas in Paris" into a fun glitchy dubstep tune fit for any club dancefloor.

FILTH

High Rankin has been pretty quiet recently, until now. They just released a new track called "Fuck You Virtual DJ," which basically is a joke on the entire DJ community. Make sure to grab the new Skrillex and Nero bootleg of "Bass Cannon" featuring the now sadly late Whitney Houston after you listen to this one. Excision & Downlink are back together crushing your subs with "Headbanga." This song goes hard, per usual, with these two legendary Rottun producers.

OLDIES

This week I wanted to feature my personal favorite by MiM0SA, his track "Lullabyte" is a mix between classic wobbly dubstep and early glitch-hop. To this day it’s still a crowd favorite in all of his sets.

DRUM & BASS

At only 16 years old, Anarchy has a very bright future ahead of him. His newest release, a remix to "Nox" by Joachim Garraud & Alesia is a softer version of drumstep that still has a heavy kick when the beat drops. The latest EP by DJs Crystal Clear and Zen is a drum and bass banger. "Dancehall Thriller" is a drum heavy track with a somewhat spooky ambience to it, all while keeping it upbeat with constant hard claps throughout.

CHILL

What can I say about MitiS that I haven’t said already? This young talented producer constantly pushes out new tracks almost daily, and most for free. Today I’m bringing you his newest lovestep song "Brings Renewal." MitiS also recently released a new EP entitled Deliverence through Heavy Artillery records. I would also like to point out the newest track by Ayejaxx, who has been featured for three straight weeks now, and for good reason. His newest remix that takes Above & Beyond's bouncy dance tune "Love Is Not Enough" into a deep bass heavy chillstep anthem.
