The last thing we heard from LA's Shlohmo was an update from his Vacation EP, now available via Friends of Friends. Within the past 24 hours, FoF Music released Nicolas Jaar's remix of "Rained The Whole Time". Jaar is known for his deep texturized beats and that is what he did here. A dive into the track, you can easily hear crisp rain falling effects and as that slowly descends, a throbbing bass creeps in with other pulsated digital sounds. Towards the end, there is a surprise girl vocal that reminds us a little of The Knife. This remix is one of the many on Vacation, featuring other guests Groundislava, Airhead and Salva.
