A.Chal – “Roses On Your Silhouette”

Shrouded in mystery and currently unsigned, A.CHAL seems to be taking the seemingly more common route of shunning the limelight and instead opting for a dark shadowed picture of himself and his Facebook is fresh like afterbirth with only 59 fans.

His sound sits somewhere between garage, hip hop, dubstep and UK bass, with various unofficial remixes dotted around YouTube, including Radiohead, Drake and Arcade Fire. However, "Roses On Your Silhouette" is by far the most most polished piece of work, featuring a deep and ethereal bassline, that has a definite urban, hip hop feel. Haunting and poetic lyrics sit seamlessly above the music and all set to a man walking forwards and then backwards down an alley.
