This track screamed "triple treat" as soon as the names Lyric Jones, Esperanza Spalding and DJ Raydar surfaced in the description. An evocative blend of fire and ice, Jones breathes bullets with each rhyme she spits while Spalding manages to soothe the overall temperature of the track with silken vocals. Laid out on a fierce DJ Raydar beat and the final product becomes irresistible. Raydar is also a Berkelee College of Music educator, where Spalding claims her alma mater.
