Let's be blunt, LU10 Records and future duo Kill Light are small names around here. Virgins to money waving motives, and you can hear it. This release has that London sewers stench, underground sounds tipping their hat to bass heavy garage and witty percussion a la UK funky. If you dig past the originals you'll find an even better remix package.
The Heavy Hearts' Adrenaline remix aims to please the nit and gritty, but it's Kashii's remix of Magic 8 that's getting my needle drop. Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for 808 cowbells, or pitched down vocals, or maybe its because it's the perfect cookie cutter for the stylish noise that's been clearing the shelves of bigger names like Sound Pellegrino in the past few months.
