There's no exact way of knowing how many songs are released in a day. Whether it be an eighteen second kazoo ditty on Soundcloud, or a Hypem track with 4 hearts, all music deserves a shot. Even on an independent blog like Earmilk, it's impossible to cover every band/song/remix worth listening too. That's why Straight From the Teet is back, and this time…IT'S DAILY! My name is Logan (aka Running) and I will be curating Earmilk's newest old feature, highlighting two up-and-coming artists from two different genres, so sit back and enjoy some good-old-fashioned, non-pasteurized, Earmilk. Drink it fast though, because I'll be coming back tomorrow with more..
Footstep
If there are any footstep purists out there, you'll have to forgive me. I know next to nothing about this newly burgeoning genre. To me, it sounds like a combination of Star Slinger, Com Truise, and vintage house, but I could be way off base so keep the commentary nice. Montréal based footstep producer Hesk has recently collaborated with Paveun to produce the super-catchy Don't Say Goodnight EP. This is the perfect soundtrack for late night summer cruising, especially if you're fond of chair dancing, hazing pedestrians with sound, and letting your arm catch the tepid wind as you speed with the windows down. Enjoy.

Something-Wave
There are so many "wave" genres that it's hard to keep things straight. There's Chillwave, New-Wave, No-Wave, Shitwave, Glowave, but today I want to show you some BLOOD-WAVE. That's what I'm calling Bluemode's genre, this Seattle based producer with only one track on the interblag has stolen my heart with his (or her) super infectious debut track "Haute Blood". The eighties guitar riff does wonders for the intro, and -of course- it has the smooth dynamics, ghostly vocals, hi-hat work, and trendy album artwork that all "wave" fans love. Good music for just laying back and contemplating your navel.
