Time for another episode of the Non-Fat Urban Soundtrack series, which is mixed and hosted by DJ Steve Martin. He is currently in LA where he already brings a weekly mix to the ears of all the LA listeners through his radio show. The radio show is called "My Side of the City" which you can hear Saturdays's on KPFK from Midnight til 2 AM in LA or you can check out the mix online.

Today's mix marks the 4th week we've had this feature and it's been a huge success thus far. We like to bring you mixes that have a range of genres that all fit a certain urban groove. This episode has a lot more hip-hop roots than last weeks and you'll find work from DJ Shadow, Dr. Octagon, and The Phracyde. But, then you'll also find electronica work from artists such as Shigeto, Dark Time Sunshine and the like. Overall, you will not be disappointed with this weeks mix. Enjoy the ride and give us some feedback. Tracklist after the jump.

Like many, I started my musical education while engaged in playing classical music in school. What began as a simple adolescent activity, quickly transformed into a deep love and appreciation for all forms of music. This love would continue to grow and manifested itself into the form of becoming a Co-Founder of EARMILK. This online music publication has become my outlet to spread all genres of music to those impressionable people, much like me. And, much like you, i'm often literally waiting for the drop....
