Thanks has to go out to Montrey for turning me on to Alex Clare. I am an avid fan of the dubstep, bassy sound being used in unison with a vocalist whose voice is as distinct as the beat it is being user over. With that in mind Alex Clare is an absolute gem. He makes music I could listen to all day, and his voice had a soulful quality that is almost like a male version of Adele.
He just dropped a vid for his new single Treading Water which teases you out of your seat with an almost DnB / breakbeat speed beat and then throws you back down with a deep bass wobble.
