If you were around in 2008 you would have recognized this Italian name on the track Puah which was on everybody's banger list from Steve Aoki to the Bloody Beetroots. Back then, I was really putting my money on Gigi Barocco. Then Diplo dropped Pon De Floor, dutch house swept the scene and the sound changed. Gigi just didn't taste the same.
He had some trouble adjusting but I have to say this new remix for Moonchild proves that he's got his groove back. It bleeds old MSTRKRFT, and mashes dutch leads with picked disco guitars. A revamping of electro house.
