London in Tow – Tube tunes

It seems like the longer you live in London the more you start running around seemingly without a minute to spare between destinations. You find yourself squeezing onto that tube carriage despite there clearly being no space and another tube 2 minutes away that is ironically half as full. Once on the tube our gaze wanders everywhere, peoples shoes, your own reflection, those ads that suddenly take on new and exciting meanings, anything to avoid  looking anyone in the eye. However one guilty pleasure and bad habit i do enjoy is messy mid week rave ups. It's officially the start of the wknd!

Check this Marcus Nasty, grime/uk funky king of the hill, mix from S.O.M.E night every wednesday at the Den. Big wednesday party vibes taken of Red bull music academy Radio.

Despite the tube being a depressing solemn place it does mean we can  invest some time in some quality music and maybe get lost or take a little extra time to finish your journey.

The tune below is a stunner. Released on the free Rag Doll e.p you can get your mits on the whole realease heerrrrr

Circus Records newest signing  Roksonix has just put out this free remix. To all who love the wobble enjoy!

Those gentlemen at the Urban Nerds and ATG are also laying on the free tunes with a big jump up electro grime party track. Stick this in your speakers and get your grave on.

I am a man from London town. I sound like I am from Oliver Twist and often wear a monacle. It helps me feel more victorian innit. Given the choice I would spend all day browsing the net listening to music, sadly I'm still looking for a way of getting to do that. Though I am close. I write for earmilk.com. Mainly UK stuff, electronic, post dubstep band stuff, some hip hop anything that catches my eye or ear really.
