Today's delivery is brought to you by Josh Heinrichs. It's time to mix in a little reggae and Josh is one of the few modern reggae artists that I can feel. He used to be in a group called Jah Roots who also made made great reggae music to jam out to. I was lucky enough to see Josh open up for Ooklah The Moc this summer and he just blew me away. When I first saw him; I wasn't expecting such a great reggae sound to come out. I was expecting maybe a folk sound or something like that. He ended up killing the show and the great thing about his sound is that it gets pretty trance inducing and layered which I'm always a fan of. You are definitely going on a ride when you get into his music. The track I'm bringing to you today is called "Stand" which is featured on his most recent 2010 album entitled Josh Heinrichs & Friends which features a plethora of artists with various reggae backgrounds.
