So, Carte Blanche have been slowly releasing material – well, slowly remixing material. The Dj Mehdi + Riton Duo have now taken their (dirtier then expected) take on Chromeo's "Don't Turn The Lights On"
I actually really like the remix, and I think its right where Carte Blanche have been putting themselves. Popular enough to get the coverage we know they deserve but still strongly gear'd for an audience that hear the ability to mix into a set rather then toss it on their ipod.
Its a mid-level track that still leaves much to the imagination / curiosity – where is Carte Blanche going? – Patience is a virtue.
