I don't know if they'd like it or not, but something about Mustard Pimp reminds me of The Bloody Beetroots. Maybe its because when I first read the name I thought it was stupid (oh come on, beetroots? mustard?)
Maybe it's the DIM MAK connection they both share that influences the pimps' sound, but they've always given me that TBB vibe – large, club, electro, and with this latest remix it just stacks another chip on the similar pile as it brings back the early days of Sir Bob Cornelius Rufio and Tommy Tea – you remember those days?
The days when remixes created royalty and the Italian duo would not be matched. Mustard Pimp haven't been on the scene that long and in the humble opinion of this blogger the french duo known as Mustard Pimp is just waiting for that one vehicle that will take them to the top.
