For the past five months, EARMILK and Cobra Corps have been organizing one of the premier parties in the local Atlanta music scene. Representing the brooding future forward sounds of the internet and beyond, URL ≠ IRL consistently provides the party-goers and weekend warriors with new flavors they were most likely not familiar with before.
Atlanta's people are notorious for their boundless energy and care-free spirit. Graveyard Tavern is basically a funnel for that energy, and for the past five months, every fourth Saturday, we have hit capacity early in the night and partied until the lights came on. Vices, DJ Hoodboi, Cobra Krames, Yung Satan, and Lil Texas were the perfect guests to bring out to carry on the modus operandi (M.O.) of the party. They represented their individual styles to the fullest.
NEVR and Respire are the guests of honor this month. Not only are they unique in style but are also Atlanta's own underground music ninjas. NEVR isn't necessarily putting out an exorbitant amount of tracks but when he does release a tune, it's a Soundcloud bomb. His Ciara – "Body Party" remix saw nearly 150 thousand plays and his Miguel – "Girl with the Tattoo" remix racked up over 50 thousand in a few months. Respire is a staple in Atlanta's future forward music movement and is sure to bring the waviness to Graveyard Tavern this Saturday along with the rest of the URL ≠ IRL crew.
