Rüfüs Du Sol sells out three nights at The Brooklyn Mirage

Rüfüs Du Sol continued on the latest leg of their North American tour by hitting New York's Brooklyn Mirage this past weekend for a three night long stint. The Australian electronic trio sold out each of the three nights at the 6,000 person venue, with tickets going for resale up to $200 ahead of the weekend's shows. Earlier in the tour, the guys brought artists like Bob Moses, The Acid, Lastlings and Willaris.K along for the ride, but for NYC attendees, Monolink was there for support.

The German ambient electronica artist Steffen Linck, known professionally as Monolink, primed the crowd with his unique brand of live electronic performance, heightened by the power it brings performing as a solo artist on stage. As the venue packed further, the crowd spread across the Mirage's signature balconies and viewing areas, allowing for a view of the Manhattan skyline as well as the show on stage.

While Rüfüs's set design and set list might have felt uncannily familiar to those in attendance who had seen their tour that ran in North America last fall, the group still captivates on stage and operates in a lane of their own. The crowd in Brooklyn didn't seem to mind the show's similarities, with the house remaining at capacity through the show's end.

Rüfüs Du Sol's tour goes through October where it will culminate with a show at the Los Angeles State Park. This comes on the heels of the announcement of the release of their SOLACE remixed album, due out September 6, almost a year after its original release in fall 2018.
